Today, one of our largest radio clients, WOR NewsTalk Radio 710, teamed with WNBC-TV to host Non-Stop Giving Day, a day-long radio- and telethon live from Rockefeller Center.

Studio hosts raised funds for the Salvation Army, as well as the Food Bank for New York City, with the radiothon streaming live on WOR 710′s home page.

VMIX worked with the station to set up the stream using Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder. The event was streamed to Flash Media Server and played on a VMIX player embedded on WOR 710′s site.

Special guests throughout the day included New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Rocco Dispirito, Joan Rivers, Pat Battle, Wendy Williams, Kathie Lee Gifford, Brian Williams, Michael Feinstein, Joy Behar, “Cousin Brucie” Morrow, Chuck Scarborough, the Oak Ridge Boys, Mary Hart, Danny Aiello, Chris Botti, Lou Dobbs and others.
