PRESS RELEASE

VMIX DEBUTS VERSION 11 WITH NEW SMART PHONE TALLY LIGHTS AT CONTENT & COMMUNICATIONS WORLD

New York City, New York – November 13, 2013 – STUDIOCOAST PTY LTD, creator of the live production software vMix, has announced version 11 on the first day of Content & Communications World.

Key new features in vMix 11 include powerful new web based controls that make live productions easier.

The first is the innovative new Web Tally Lights feature which turns any WiFi enabled smart phone into an instant tally light.  The second is a Web Title Editor which instantly allows the show producer to login and update on-air CG titles via their tablet.

Other new features include a built in audio compressor effect, a new colour coded category system to organise inputs and the ability to specify start and end points on any video clip.

“We’ve looked at some key ways to make live streaming productions easier in vMix 11” says company director Martin Sinclair. “The software foundation of vMix allows us to rapidly implement new features that would either be impossible or impractical on a traditional hardware switcher”.

Hardware support in vMix 11 has also been expanded with support for the Matrox MXO2 and Mojito line of high quality capture devices.

vMix staff will be at the STUDIOCOAST PTY LTD - VMIX booth (#747) throughout Content and Communications World demonstrating the software on an off-the-shelf laptop and capture system available for less than $4000.

“This is our first time at the CCW Expo, and we’re excited to be able to show off these new capabilities that complement existing features such as Virtual Sets and integrated Titles” says Martin.
